- Fill the pails with water or sand to keep them in place.
- Place them 7 paces / 21 feet apart.
- Throw 3 rocks per turn. Aim for the side, rim, or instant-win hole.
- Play to 21, win by 2. If you did not hear the side hit, it does not count.

Are rocks included?
No. Choose the rocks that feel right to you: the right weight, grip, and throw.
What are the pouches for?
They help keep rocks from disappearing in sand or grass while preserving the rock-on-pail DING.
Can we adjust the distance?
Yes. Regulation is 7 paces / 21 feet, but everyone can agree on a shorter distance. Play only where there is enough space to throw safely.
